For the First Time in My Life

Like I've told you, Scott and I are going to be college grads in less than a month!!

I'm so excited.

What a strange feeling to never go to school again (for me, not Scott)

School is all I've known since 5 years old.

Hmm

So what will I do after work?

And on the weekends?

First the first time in my life

I think I'm going to try to enjoy

READING

(yes, mom, you read that right)

seriously. I do NOT like reading.

I get so bored, and tired, and if I put the book down, I'm over it.

But I'm going to need some cheap hobbies while Scott's studying

I love to sew, but that's not going to be all that cheap to do constantly.

However, there's been talk about me getting a part time evening job someplace like Joann fabrics so I can get a discount!

Scott is so smart.

So here's where I need you.

I need suggestions.

They have to be REALLY GOOD suggestions though

because I could be over this goal very quickly if I get bored with it

What's New With Us!

current topics of most conversations in our home:

-Let's get a dog

a male shih tzu to be exact

we could make money doing stud service with it

-we will be BYU grads NEXT MONTH!!!!

-Decorating super inexpensively

i'm becoming obsessed with ideas, and I can't stop

-Cell Phones that keep breaking

-Scott is 25 now! Jenesee is 22 1/2 now!

-we're officially moving to North Las Vegas in less than 2 months

I have SUCH mixed feelings.

We're really excited to start dental school, and make new friends, start a new chapter of our lives, and be that much closer to being done with school forever!

But we will miss living by family more than we can explain

BUT we will be only 4 hours from my home in California!

but still. I want to cry every time I think about it.

we looked up all the sexual offenders in our Vegas neighborhood. hah

I'm just thinking ahead!

I will have a lot of time alone in that house

and we will live next to a park

and it kinda freaks me out

but I kinda can't wait to hang out at the park at the same time

-When will our fish ever die?

-The large bird I hit with my car

wasn't my fault

it just flew up and landed in front of my moving tire!

I couldn't stop!

no damage to the car done, don't know about the bird

all I saw was a puff of feathers behind me

-Emily vs. Chantal

-Scott trying to convince me that Arby's is good

-my new job at Halftees

I get to listen to good music,

people watch,

hang out at the mall,

hear way too much info about how and why these improve nursing,

and listen to teenagers walk by and say "I don't get it, belly shirts aren't even in style anymore!'

bah hah! makes my day every time

Yesterday, Scott was a trooper and went to an ASL ward with me for credit for my ASL class

I feel like I can do ASL alright, until I get around people who know ASL

and then I look like an idiot

I had to talk to 2 people

I think Scott understood more sign than I did

prayers for her and Grandpa. and everyone who has been so dedicated in sitting by her and taking care of her the last few months. Her time is very short...
